In its 75 years, the Legion of Young Polish Women has provided over $1,400,000 in donations to charitable and cultural organizations in Poland, the United States, and around the world. At the same time, the Legion has provided its members with a sense of community, amazing leadership opportunities, and a way to make a meaningful impact on the world around them.

How and why has the Legion been able survive for the last 75 years?

Why is this organization important to its members? To the larger Polish community?

The following three sections attempt to answer these very questions. Using the words of Legion members and supporters in interviews conducted in 1988 and 2014, explore these pages to learn what it is that makes the Legion of Young Polish unique and important.
