Since 1926, honor societies at Loyola have recognized students for achievement in academics and leadership, as well as Jesuit ideals such as intellectual excellence, community service, and integrity. Societies include Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Honor Society of Jesuit colleges and universities, and Phi Beta Kappa, one of the most prestigious national honor societies.
