Hidden Loyola
Description
Based on Michael Grace, S.J.,'s famous yearly tour of hidden architectural treasures at the Lake Shore Campus, the images in this exhibit highlight the great architecture of Loyola and how the campus has been transformed over the years.

East Quad
The East Quad includes; Damen Hall; the Crown Center for the Humanities; Cudahy Science Hall; Dumbach Hall; the Japanese Toro; the Jesuit Residence; the Klarchek Information Commons; and the Cudahy Library.
West Quad
The West Quad includes; Alumni Gym; Flanner Hall; Granada Center; the Gentile Center; the Halas Sports Center; and Mertz Hall.
Madonna della Strada Chapel
Designed in the Art Deco Style, Madonna della Strada Chapel opened its doors to the Loyola University Chicago Community in 1938. It is the University's main chapel. The Chapel was renovated in 1985 and most recenlty in July of 2006 and concluded in August of 2007.
Mundelein
Mundelein College was founded by the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVMs) in 1930. Mundelein officially became part of Loyola University Chicago in 1991. Mundelein was the first self-contained skyscraper college for women in the world.
Campus as a Movie Set
The 1990 film Flatliners filmed several scenes at the Loyola Lake Shore Campus.
